Training and Credentials
Nicole Matsui earned her Bachelor of Science in Biology from the University of Hawai‘i at Mānoa and her Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies from Pacific University in Oregon. During her clinical training, she completed a dermatology rotation with Dr. Amy Reisenauer, MD, which strengthened her dedication to skin health and patient education. She also brings valuable experience from primary and urgent care, emergency medicine, and cardiothoracic surgery, which have further refined her diagnostic and procedural skills in dermatology.

Born and raised on Maui, Nicole is grateful to return home to serve the community that shaped her. She is passionate about providing personalized, compassionate care and helping patients achieve healthy, confident skin. In her free time, she enjoys playing tennis and pickleball, fishing, hiking, snowboarding, traveling, and spending time with family and friends.
