Dr. Trischman grew up surrounded by mountains on a cattle ranch in Montana. After high school, he joined the Air Force and was trained as a Chinese linguist.
He lived in Texas, California, and Maryland, but by far his favorite place that he ever lived was Hawai'i. He fell in love with the natural beauty of Hawai'i, the spirit of aloha, the wonderful people, the food, and the rich culture and history.
He lived on O'ahu for 3 years and attended Chaminade University of Honolulu. Afterwards, he returned to the mainland to complete pre-medical studies at Oregon State University and medical school at Case Western Reserve University. From there he completed his Internship and Residency in Dermatology at the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota.
He is thrilled to be joining our 'ohana in Maui and looks forward to using the world-class training he has received at the Mayo Clinic to enrich the lives of his patients here. He hopes to make Maui his forever home.
He is married and has 3 young children, so his hobbies mostly involve them, but he enjoys freediving, hiking, snorkeling, scuba, running, weight lifting, soccer, and much more.
