Dr. Alan Song is a board certified surgeon and has been in practice in Maui for over 25 years. He prides himself on treating every patient as an individual with unique needs. His goal is always to find the best treatment plan for his patients so that they can have the most successful outcome possible.
Dr. Song was born and raised in Hawaii and has always had the desire to provide the best medical and surgical care for the people of Maui.
Dr. Song attended Brown University where he received his degree in Human Biology. He then graduated from the University of Hawaii John A. Burns School of Medicine, then went on to residency at the University of Colorado specializing in Head and Neck Surgery, Facial Plastics and Reconstructive Surgery. His primary focus now is Mohs micrographic surgery, which is a precise surgical technique used to treat skin cancers.
Dr. Song is married with 2 daughters. He loves to spend time with his family. He also enjoys hiking, skiing, traveling and ceramics, especially the process of Raku pottery.
